How to Install HP Sure Run:
Recommended HP Sure Run Installation Instructions:
1. Download the file by clicking the Download or Obtain Software button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).
New Install:
1. Right click SP148634 and select Run as Administrator.
2. If the User Account Control appears, select Yes.
3. On the HP Sure Run wizard screen, verify that the version is correct, then select Next.
4. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement, then select Next.
5. Remove Installation Files - choose an option or accept the default, then select Next.
6. Select Finish.
A series of messages is displayed as the installation program runs. Select the following responses:
7. Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for HP Sure Run, select Next.
8. Ready to Install the Program, select Install.
9. InstallShield Wizard Completed, click Finish.
Upgrade:
IMPORTANT: Uncheck HP Sure Run in HP Client Security Manager, then select Submit.

7. This setup will perform an upgrade, select Yes.
8. Resuming the InstallShield Wizard, select Next.
9. Files in Use, select OK.
10. The setup was unable to automatically close, select OK.
11. InstallShield Wizard Completed, select Finish.
Provisioning HP Sure Run:
1. To start HP Sure Run, click the Windows key and type HP Client Security Manager.
2. Select HP Client Security.
3. Select Sure Run.
4. If the User Account Control appears, select Yes.
5. Check Enable HP Sure Run, then select Submit.
6. Enter the 6-8-digit pin number, then select Submit.
7. Select OK.
8. Reboot is required, select Yes.
