This package contains the driver that enables the Intel HID Event Filter Driver to be used with supported computer models that are running a supported operation system. Intel HID Event Filter driver allows the BIOS to send Intel HID messages to the operating system for various key presses.
How to Install Intel HID Event Filter Driver:
1. Download the file by clicking the Download or Obtain Software button and saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where the downloaded file is saved).
2. Use the Program and Features menu in the Control Panel to uninstall the fingerprint reader driver on the system.
3. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files to C:SWSETUPsp151599 or another directory of your choice.
4. Run the setup program from the directory that contains the unpacked files. Enter -? on the command line to list the options for the setup program.
NOTE: After double-clicking the downloaded file, select This program installed correctly on the Program Compatibility Assistant screen. This message is displayed by the protection mechanism of Microsoft Windows.
